Job Description Direct Support to consumers whether in an In-Home or Group Home setting.
Provide support, transportation and assistance for each individual to enable her/him to complete daily routines in a safe, healthy, productive and dignified manner.
This usually includes toileting, bathing, dressing, laundry, supervision of recreation.
Encourages independence by providing both the opportunity and the appropriate levels of skill training for the individuals in categories such as self-care, household chores, social skills, recreation skills, etc.
