As a Van Driver, you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient transportation for individuals attending our Adult Day Program.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport participants of Joeys Quest Adult Day Program to and from designated locations.
- Adhere to the assigned schedule, ensuring prompt pickup and drop-off times.
- Assist participants with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Follow all traffic regulations and maintain a safe driving record.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with program participants, their families, and Joeys Quest staff.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of program participants.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in passenger transportation is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to timeliness.
- Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety protocols.
- Background check.
