Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items - Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed in the kitchen area - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area - Assist customers with their orders and provide excellent customer service - Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately - Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels - Follow proper procedures for handling and storing food products - Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a deli or food service environment is preferred but not required - Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
